“Hard Botties” competed on Saturday, October 5th at Bash at the Beach, a FIRST Robotics Competition event in Old Lyme, CT. The object of the competition was to direct the robots to shoot Frisbees at goals or climb 10-foot-high pyramids in the center of the playing field. Harding’s team participated in the Frisbee toss. They worked with two other teams during the competition: the Southington CT Cyber Knights and the Brookfield Disco Techs.

You can read more about our participation during the event at here.

Hey Team!

Shelton has invited us to head up to their shop and work tonight and tomorrow since our school is still closed!  If we go tonight, the plan would be to meet up at Harding at around 5:30pm to carpool and probably return around 10:30pm.  If you think you could make it, please shoot me  a text.  Make sure you include your name since I do not have all of your numbers saved.  If we can't make it as a team tonight, we will try again tomorrow night.

I hope all of you are well after the storm!  I'm excited to get back to normal!

Hey Guys!

I have not forgotten about you.  Ms.Kenny and I are still very much snowed in and unable to leave and school has been cancelled through Tuesday, as I am sure you've heard.  Please keep checking the website each morning so that we can communicate to you when we will finally be able to get some work time in again.  As soon as we get back to school, be ready for some CRAZY robotics work time and to work harder than we ever thought we would need to.  Meanwhile, enjoy some time off and keep an eye on this webpage!

Good Morning, Kids!

Your mentors are all snowed in.  We will not be meeting today.  Stay tuned and we'll make plans to head up to Shelton tomorrow.

Go outside and PLAY!
